Corinne

Wow, I don't know where to begin. When you have the best mom in the world it is hard to know where to begin. I admire and love so many things about her. I admire her love and respect for Dad! Oh, she loves him so much. She never said or did anything that would imply otherwise even if he was being stubborn. I also know that growing up she treated us the same way, I don't remember her yelling or swearing more than an "Oh Hell" once in awhile. When that came you knew she was mad.
She was so good to cook meals for me and my friends before volleyball or basketball games. Then her and Dad would be to each game. It was so good to see them in the stands. One birthday I had drill team early in the morning and a basketballl game after school and Iwasn't going to be home all day. When I woke up Mom had a Happy Birthday banner up in the hall, and a piece of toast with a candle in it for me. That was one of the neatest birthdays I remember. She made sure I knew I was loved.
She was so talented in painting and in sewing. I would dream up these dresses I wanted for the dances and she would put all my thoughts together and make them. She was always so selfless. She made my wedding dress and then at my shower gave me a porcelain doll with a dress that she made just like my wedding dress. Mom never gives anything unless it is from her heart.
That is how she lives. She is so faithful and humble I love her so much for the example she is to me and my family. I loved how when all our kids were born she came and stayed with us and helped me. Mom loves all her grandkids so much, and they know it, she makes sure of that.

If only I can be the same type of mother and Grandmother that she has been and contiues to be now.Posted by Picasa
