Trina Erickson
I have a lot of memories with Grandma. I remember when I was really young helping her in her yard and garden, she always had such a pretty yard. One of my fun memories is when it was time to kill the chickens, I loved going to their house and helping do that. I will never forget the year I moved in with them. I was so sad when my mom left and Grandma was there and made me feel better. The best school year I ever had is when I lived there. That was the year Grandpa & Grandma went on their cruise, grandma left a note on my pillow and Corinne's pillow. It was just a short note, but I still have that letter and cherish it. I remember I used to tease Corinne terribly and I would tell grandma she hit me, or was being mean. Grandma would always come to my defense and tell her to stop, when really she wasn't doing anything. One thing I will never forget is the way grandma was with grandpa, you just knew she would do anything for him. I thought it was neat everynight they were side by side doing dishes. I am thankful for the values they taught me, family prayer was a big thing in their home. Grandma has always been a big part of my life and someone very special to me. I am thankful for all of the memories I have with her.
