My MOM
When ever I think of memories of Mom I can see her now over her big blue bread pan making bread with a hole in the center of her flour and puring the liquid in it and mixing it up and hardly can wait for the end result. Mom made the best bread and still does, I wish I knew what happened to the blue pan she used I would love to have it. I remember Mom being such a hard worker and always helping Dad and cooking good meals, one time after being in the hay field all morning I remember going in and having mash potatoes and white gravy and it tasted so good I ate so much I was sick , Mom was a good cook except for steak no a fence but I could never eat it, sorry Mom. One time after dark when we were all suppose to be doing work and getting supper, mom was out helping dad, and we were all goofing around and playing, chasing each other I ran out side running from some one and out back by her bedroom window I saw a shadow and went in the house screaming, and soon in came mom she was out there watch us playing around she did not get mad, but told us we need do learn to do what we are ask.
She always took pride in what she did and did it well she loved flowers and rocks and she has passed this on to me. When we would go somewhere she was gathering rocks and flowers up to take home or digging up starts of things , I do the same thing. In my prayers at night I thank My Heavenly Father for giving me such good parents and for the things that they taught me. Mom never talked negative about anyone she always had such a good attitude and taught us well. I am so proud to call her MOM.
